Paying For Your College


Second Career

Second Career is a cost-sharing grant program administered by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU). Designed to provide laid-off workers with skills training and financial support, it is assigned on the basis of need and therefore, recipients may be asked to contribute towards their training or education. Second Career may be used as a basic living allowance and to cover tuition, as well as to cover the costs of textbooks, workbooks, instruction manuals and transportation. Additional support may be made available to those living with disabilities or dependent care, or to cover the costs of living away from home and academic upgrading.

Interest Free Payment Plan

North American College provides students with the option of paying the tuition of diploma programs in monthly installments, interest-free for the duration of the program. For more information, contact us today.


Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a financial aid program aimed towards post-secondary education students. Through grants and loans, OSAP provides eligible Ontario students with the financial means to cover tuition, books and living expenses, and transportation. Student Lines of Credit

Students may choose to apply for private student lines of credit from financial institutions to help finance their post-secondary education. Contact NAC’s Financial Aid Officers to be connected to a financial institution.


Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP)

The Canada Revenue Agency Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) has allowed students to finance full-time training or education for themselves, their spouses or common-law partners by withdrawing amounts from their Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP). Non-Ontario Residents

In order to gain access to federal and provincial financial aid programs, non-Ontario residents should apply to the province in which they qualify for residency status.
